Hiroshi Yoshida: Printing of "A Junk" Process Set
Japanese woodblock print set by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), titled Printing of "A Junk" Process Set, ca 1939. The set includes 5 prints, plus an explanatory sheet, showing the colors and blocks used to develop a finished print. There is a stamp signature on print number 4 and 5, as in all examples of this set. This design is illustrated as plates 257 and 258 of the Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi, Abe Publishing Co., Ltd., (Tokyo, 1987).

These prints are in excellent condition, with extremely vivid colors. The images measure approximately 6 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches.
