| Original Japanese woodblock print by Osaka School master, Konishi Hirosada (fl. 1820 -60), depicting a bust portrait of an actor. The image measures approximately 9 3/8 by 6 1/2 inches, plus margins. The colors on the print are quite fresh, and there are embossed and lacquered highlights. Overall the print is in very good condition, although there is some faint transfer staining from the facing album sheet. In addition, like most chuban format Osaka pieces, it is from an album, and has a typical album backing. | ||||||
