Original Japanese woodblock print by Koichi Shimizu (1895-?), titled “Ocean View from the Sotobo Line, Chiba”, 1939. This design is listed as number 11 in the series One Hundred Views of New Japan, which was self-published by members of the Nihon Hanga Association. The image measures approximately 8 7/8 by 11 5/8 inches, plus full margins. It is tipped onto its original presentation folder with artist, print and publisher information. It is in very good condition, with only minor printing creases and some light soiling in the image to note.
