Original Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled "The Moon Through a Crumbling Window", 1886. This print is plate 30 from the popular and important series, "100 Aspects of the Moon". The robe is nicely oxidized, typically an indication that deluxe pigments were used. It is from a set that was never backed or bound into an album. The image measures approximately 13 x 8 7/8 inches, plus incredibly large margins. |
