Original Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled "The Gion District", 1885. This print is plate 4 from the popular and important series, "100 Aspects of the Moon". There are black lacquer highlights. It is from a set that was never backed or bound into an album. The image measures approximately 13 x 8 7/8 inches, plus incredibly large margins. There is a small void in bottom margin. |
