Original brush signed print by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), titled Maiko, 1929. This design is illustrated at plate 253 of “The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi”, Abe Publishing Co., Ltd., 1987. It was produced especially for a calendar, and was never issued with a jizuri seal. The image measures approximately 13 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches, plus margins. The print is in very good condition, aside from light toning on the front top left corner and on the reverse. This print is from the Yoshida Family Estate, and was acquired directly from a family member.
