Original pencil signed woodblock print by Tadashi Nakayama (b. 1927), titled Blue Butterfly, 85/85, 1978. This design is illustrated in “Tadashi Nakayama: His Life and Work”, Hendricks, Kappy,. Bethesda: Irongate Editions, Ltd., 1982, pl. 188. The image measures approximately 13 1/4 by 6 3/4 inches, plus full margins, and is printed with silver metallic pigments. The print is in very good condition, aside from faint wrinkling at the margins, and a minor spot on the front right margin.
