Hammered Silver Okimono of Hotei
A hammered silver okimono of the legendary Hotei, one of the Seven Lucky Gods, resting on his sack of “precious things”. He holds an uchiwa in hand, his robes eddying about his ample body. Distinctive features of this god of mirth are his joyful demeanor and friendly grin. Signed Masayoshi on the base, includes tomobako. This finely hammered silver okimono is in excellent condition. Height: 8.25”, length: 15” Meiji Period, Japan
