An exquisite Hirata School iron and cloisonné- enamel tripodic koro, silver liner and gold and silver peony bud knob on cover. Decorated with blue-feathered birds perched on flowering sakura branches, its foliate collar is wired in gold and colors with stylistic scrolling. Signature Kogyokusai Kazuhisa koku and kao on body. This rare iron and enamel koro is in excellent condition with no problems. Height: 6.75” Late Edo/Meiji Period, Japan
