Here is a tripodic studio porcelain censer with inverted rim and round compressed body. On its lustrous mauve-colored ground, blossoming morning glories in white and purple enamel grow freely among opulent green leaves and vines.The imagery is richly colored and designed, taking advantage of the censer's lovely form. Rectangular, underglaze blue signature cartouche of Makuzu Kozan on the base. This censer is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
