A small salt shaker in the form of a Buddhist bell with exquisite fittings, executed in silver, its handle chiseled to form a double-headed dragon. Along the bell's body, a powerful and fierce dragon writhes in and out of auspicious clouds, the long body meticulously carved in great detail. Lower panel features a theme recurrent in Japanese art - stylized, overlapping waves This collector's piece is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. Height: 2.25" Late Meiji Period, Japan
