A tall, graceful Imari porcelain bottle-form vase with rondels of pheasant and peahen amid cherry blossom and chrysanthemum groves, phoenix spreading their trailing tail feathers mid- flight. Rondels are superimposed on its vibrant, multi-patterned background rendered in classic Imari porcelain colors and gilt. This elegant vase is in very good condition with expected, slightly imperceptible rubbing to the gilt, due to age. Height: 23”, width: 10.5” Meiji Period, Japan
