| A small Japanese cloisonné covered box of rounded, rectangular form. Fine silver wirework forms a visual of swaying bamboo in multi-green tones with sprigs of yellow-centered white kiku entwining their branches. Nearby two gold-wired songbirds forage for food. The entire box is framed by jeweled borders, top and bottom, emphasizing its shining surfaces. Hayashi Kodenji triangular mark on base. Length, 3.75"; height, 3.25". Meiji Period.
