A Rare Korean B/W Saucer Dish

A rare found of Korean b/w saucer dish, with fluted sides cavetto and decorated in the center with grasses, base foot rim adhere with sands. The 519 years of Choson dynasty represent one of the longest single periods rule in the ceramic world's history. During this period, blue & white ware design changed along with the times, reflecting the tastes of the era. Around the first half of the 18th century, design were simplified, leaving with more space on the surface. Typical of the style of this period is the group known as "autumn grass style" which is characterized by opague white surfaces decorated cleanly with design of grasses and flowers. Choson dynasty 18th century. Condition is perfect with no any chip and no crack excepted minor kiln flaw appears. Diameter: 8 cm founded in South-Sulawesi area.
