| A 'doucai' dish, painted in the center with eight small stylist 'shou' characters radiating from a central 'shou' medallion and surrounded by interlocking stem motif, the exterior of the rounded sides with four pairs of alternating floral elements below a 'C' and dot border and above further interlinked stems. Seal mark and period of Qianlong (1736-1795). Condition with single 2.4cm hairline (visible on enlargement 10) and the area with triple hairlines, 3cm, 2.3cm and the shorter 2cm nothing cross to the back side (not visible on enlargement 11 and 12), no any chip and no restoration. Diameter: 21 cm. A dish of the same size and pattern with a Qianlong seal mark was included in Hongkong O.C.S Exhibition of Qing Polychrome Porcelain, 1977 Cataloque. no.85. | |||||||||||||||
