| A rare celadon pear-shaped bottle vase, decorated with inlaid Chrysanthemum blossoms on both sides below 'ruyi' border to the neck and lotus petals around the foot. Covered overall with typical Korean celadon pale green glazed. Five silica spur-marks on the base. Koryo dynasty 13th-14th century. Condition with damaged to the rim like indicated on the enlargement 7 & 8, firing crack to the base, but further in good condition. High: 21.5 cm. Compared to one at the 'Masterpieces Of Oriental Ceramics' Osaka page 91, lot 66, but decorated with incised clouds pattern to the body 27.3 in high. | ||||||||||||||
