A Cantonese carved ivory needlecase, circa 1860. Screw-top tapered cylindrical shape. There is a very slight and insignificant chip to the top and also to the edge of the base. Age-soiled. Measures 3 1/8 inches in length.
ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD PURPLE LUSTER SET of creamer, sugar and dish. 1910. Each item is marked on the bottom with the pattern number A5367. Only the dish, however, has additional marks and they are: WEDGWOOD (impressed) and 3CM (impressed, i.e. 1910). Each item in the set is decorated with a wide band containing an all-over pattern of purple luster dots scattered with a floral design. Purple luster trim. A Staffordshire child's toy blue and white plate by Ridgways, (1902). Marked on reverse, in blue, "Ridgways" with the full "Humphrey's Clock" mark and initials "W.R.S.& Co., England - and, "Scenes From Chas. Dickens/ Old Curiosity/ Shop" (see enlargement picture # 2). With an impressed mark on reverse - "W.B." and registration mark for March 14, 1862 stamped in brown.
