THREE SMALL COMPACTS: LA JAYNEES; ELMO; AND PONDS. Circa 1930s. 1.) The La Jaynees compact is filled with rouge and has its original protective tissue paper and puff inside. Gilt metal top with red plastic base. It measures 1 5/8 inches in diameter. 2.) The Elmo compact has a mirror inside the lid. Blue enamel and silvertone metal. Probably for powder. A LADY'S VOLUPTE POWDER COMPACT IN ORIGINAL BOX. C. 1950s. The compact measures 3" by 3" by 5/8". A goldtone compact having a brushed and polished finish on the lid. The compact features a swivel bar attached to the base which swings up over the lid for added security and decoration. Please see enlargements for details. In its ORIGINAL box. In excellent condition.
ZELL 5TH AVE LADY'S GOLDTONE POWDER COMPACT. Circa 1950s. The compact measures 2 3/4" by 2 3/4" by 1/2". It features a raised oval decoration on the lid which is accented by a rhinestone. The interior is fitted with a mirror inside the lid plus a filter screen and original powder puff. In very good condition.

Together with a signed certificate from WALT DISNEY ATTRACTIONS, INC. stating that the handkerchief is from the estate of LILLIAN GISH. The handkerchief is extremely fine and delicate and features pale blue silk embroidery. Scalloped corners. The name "LILLIAN" is embroidered, in script, on one corner.
