The woman's period costume is decorated in cobalt blue and gilt. She has a poke bonnet trimmed in gilt, a cobalt blue bodice with gilt lacing, and her skirt is scattered with gilt roses. An oval side dish decorated on the border, in black, with the crest of a crowned eagle within a wreath and lettered beneath, in script, L'Aiglon (the Eaglet). A bone china miniature coffee cann by Crown Staffordshire, England. Circa 1920s. Richly decorated in crimson and gold with two circular reserves each containing a floral group. Inner border in gilt and crimson. Gilt handle. There is a very tiny - 1/16th" by 1/8th" - bit of damage on the outside rim near the handle (please see enlargement 3) - otherwise in excellent condition. The cup measures 1 1/4 inches in height.
