VICTORIAN MINIATURE "CALENDAR OF THE SEASONS" Marcus Ward, 1885. A four-paneled calendar which originally would have been folded but now separated at each fold with each separate card measuring 4 1/4" by 2 5/8". The chromolithographed cards are printed in full colors and gilt. Each card features a portrait miniature of a young girl in a central medallion: 1.) SPRING; 2.) SUMMER; 3.) AUTUMN; 4.) WINTER. Please see enlargements for details. The backs have a calendar for 1885 with additional information on holidays, etc. including a list of Presidents of the United States. Apart from being separated at the folds, the set is in very good condition.
