Coalport Cottage Pastille Burner, 1964. "The Master's House". Impressed date on the base of 1964. Porcelain cottage with applied bocage and flowers. Gilt trim. A charming example of one of Coalport's 1960s pastille burners that were based on antique models. Pastilles were aromatic pellets used for scenting the room. This example features a small dog patiently waiting at the cottage's entrance for his master's return. In very fine condition with no damage or faults. Ref.
