| A late 19th century French scent bottle with gilt decoration. Signed (see enlargement 3) in gilt. The first initial looks like it could be an "H", the last initial is a "B". The bottle has a cut decoration featuring three circular reserves outlined in gilt, two of which have a hand-painted decoration of roses. The decoration on the third is worn. Most of the gilt decoration on the rest of the bottle is unfortunately lost but, still, the bottle retains a lot of charm. Clear ball stopper with frosted stem. Pontil mark on base. Measures 4 inches in height (to top of stopper), 2 inches in diameter across the shoulders, and 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the base. | ||||||
