An early celluloid tape measure advertising Lewis' Lye, Philadelphia: Pennsylvania Salt Mfg. Co., circa 1919. Made by the Parisian Novelty Co., Chicago. With the following imprinted on the measure's edge: "Pat 11-10-17, 11- 4- 19". Imprinted in blue on one side depicting a can of Lewis' Lye and on the other side with a list of uses for the product. The tape measure's holder is circular in shape and contains a pull-out cloth measure. The first few inches of the measure are missing otherwise in fine condition. Measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
