BRITISH WAR RELIEF SOC. WW II PATRIOTIC ENAMEL PIN.

A British War Relief Society WW II enamel brooch, circa 1940s. Hinged straight pin on the back with a safety catch. Stamped on the back: OFFICIAL BWRS AND BB (Bundles for Britain) BY ACCESSOCRAFT. The pin features a shield and red, white and blue ribbon in enamel. The shield (surmounted by a crown) is decorated with the British Lion and is lettered DIEU ET MON DROIT (God and My Right). Slight wear but overall in fine condition. It measures 1 5/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Issued by the British War Relief Society to raise money for their cause.
