| A fine RARE MINIATURE PORCELAIN FIGURE of a WOMAN IN PERIOD COSTUME. Selb, Bavaria, ROSENTHAL. Circa 1920. This charming figure stands only 2 1/4 inches tall. The woman's period costume is decorated in cobalt blue and gilt. She has a poke bonnet trimmed in gilt, a cobalt blue bodice with gilt lacing, and her skirt is scattered with gilt roses. She stands on a cobalt blue and gilt rococo base. The base is stamped with the maker's mark (see enlargement 5). The figure itself, measures only 2 inches but, with the base, has a total height of 2 1/4 inches. In perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Simply delightful! | ||||||||
