| LOUIS WAIN NOVELTY POSTCARD "HERE'S LUCK AND LOTS OF LOVELY VIEWS OF NOTTINGHAM". Valentine's Sons Printed Paper Mailing Novelty. Card #1373. Circa 1920s. Divided back and postally used. Signed lower left. The card depicts five black cats sitting on a brick wall with their backs to the viewer. Their necks are individually lettered to spell "HERES" and each tail is formed as a different letter which, together, spells the word "LUCK". There is a flap which can be raised to reveal a pull-out series of black and white photographic views of the city of NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND. In very good condition. | |||||||||
