A FINE VICTORIAN TRADE CARD BOOKMARK FOR GABLER PIANOS. Circa. 1890s. Die-cut and embossed and printed in full chromolithographed colors with gilt. The card is designed as a bookmark and is neatly cut along the bottom of the lowest rose so that it can clip to a page of a book. The bookmark features a young girl and boy dressed in period costumes within a rose decorated border. The reverse has an advertisement for GABLER PIANOS offered for sale by E.F. DROOP & SONS CO., Washington D.C. Gabler Pianos was established in 1854. In excellent unused condition. Measures 5 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
