Original pictorial boards in pictorial dust jacket. FIRST EDITION of this French translation of Beatrix Potter's "The Tale Of Two Bad Mice". Prior to 1975 nine different Potter titles had been translated into French with dates of publication ranging from 1921 (Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny) to 1967 (The Tailor of Gloucester). Four new titles by Charvet & Thiriot (of which this is one) were issued in 1975 followed, in 1979, by a French translation of "Samuel Whiskers" by Charvet and Canal.
