| PHILIP REED FINE SIGNED COLOR WOOD ENGRAVING FOR HIS MOTHER GOOSE'S "THE TINKER". 1963. On paper measuring 11 inches by 8 1/2 inches. Image size measures approximately 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches. THE TINKER, one of a series of Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme characters engraved on wood by Philip Reed and printed in several colors. This is an ORIGINAL WOOD ENGRAVED PRINT. Reed's series of Mother Goose illustrations were also reproduced in his Caldecott Honor Award-winning book "Mother Goose" published by Atheneum in 1963. IN MINT CONDITION ready for framing. | |||||
