A charming standing Jamacoaque adolescent. Adorned with traditional earrings, nose ring and necklace. She wears a heavily designed skirt and matching shoulder tattoos. Remnants of pale green pigment are still present on surface. Restored. Measuring 6.75" (17.14cm) in height.

A nicely made Manteño Incensario. Standing on a pedestal wearing a wide 6.75" dia. brim hat and large earplugs. Excellent facial features. Used for ceremonial purposes. Brown coloring shows that this piece was subjected in a more controlled firing. Most Manteño artifacts are black in color due to it's lack of oxygen. Intentionally broken during rituals. Re-assembled and painted over break lines. Measures 15.5". Manabi, Ecuador 700-1550AD. Impressive piece.

Handsome torso of a Dignitary. Hollow grayware pottery. Fragmentary figure depicting a male wearing a tall, conical headdress having a central tassel and a broad segmented collar around his neck with dangle type ear ornaments. Some remaining areas of a cream-tan surface pigment. Head and headdress reattached, some losses to the reattached ear ornaments. Northern Esmeraldas region, Ecuador. 600-200 A.D. Measures over 11" tall.
