A Tibetan translation of the Diamond sutra. Written in gold ink in standing Tibetan writing (dbu-can). With two images on folio 1: Buddha Shakyamuni and the four-armed Bodhisattva of compassion, Shadaksarilokeshvara This sutra belongs to the Prajnaparamita literature and is one of the oldest Mahayana texts. It is a dialog between Buddha and his pupil Subhuti. The sutra consists of 50 folios with simple wood covers. In very good condition. Mongolia, 19th. century.

This pantheon of the five hundred Gods of Narthang consists of three parts: The rin-byung (143 folios), the snar-thang (13 folios) and the vajravali (20 folios). The fourth Panchen Lama (1782-1853) gave a 'print benediction.' In good condition. Mongolia, 19th. century.

A beautiful pair of shell containers (Kaibitsu)with messing fittings, used for the Kaiawase game. The matching of painted shells symbolizes faithfulness in marriage. A shell game set belonged often to the trousseau of a bride. The hampers are in excellent condition and they come with the original wooden boxes. Japan, Edo period. The height of the shell boxes is 43 cm. The diameter is 38,5 cm.
