Impressive antique keris from Sumatra (Indonesia)with a very detailed carved ivory hilt (ukiran palembang), representing a garuda-like bird man. A wood sheath with wrangka palembang and a lacquer finish. The mendak and selut are set with gemstones, probably pieces of diamond. Very nice pamor. In good condition.
