| A Tibetan translation of the Diamond sutra. Written in gold ink in standing Tibetan writing (dbu-can). With two images on folio 1: Buddha Shakyamuni and the four-armed Bodhisattva of compassion, Shadaksarilokeshvara This sutra belongs to the Prajnaparamita literature and is one of the oldest Mahayana texts. It is a dialog between Buddha and his pupil Subhuti. The sutra consists of 50 folios with simple wood covers. In very good condition. Mongolia, 19th. century. | ||
