| This blood coral carving is a piece of art. The color is intense orange/brick-red. The bat with spread out wings is wonderful. It's body ends in the form of a ruyi and a coin. The beautiful double gourd with a twice wrapped ribbon will catch all bad spirits and protects the owner of this piece. There is a larger coin on the left side of the gourd, decorated with flowers. Also the mouth of the gourd shows a flower. The carver was very skillful and felt much love for his material, what shows itself. In excellent condition, only a natural nick on the right side above the wing of the bat. Size of this piece: height 5 cm., width 4.1 cm., thickness 2.5 cm. | ||
