A celadon glazed porcelain wine ewer in peach shape with applied leaves and miniature fruits accentuated in underglaze red and blue. The concave base with a hole leading to a tube for filling. Condition: one side with crack, the handle restuck with glue, between spout and body an underglaze hairline. Dimension: 15.2 cm high, spout to handle c. 18 cm.

Sold. 

An antique wood statue of the Boddhisattva Wei Tuo, the guardian of the Buddhist principles, dating to the late Qing dynasty. Carved in two parts with gilding and red color. He is standing on a rock imitating base, dressed as a warrior and holding the vajra staff. Condition: one hand with tiny losses, parts of scarf missing, top of helmet with a lost insert, vajra staff, one hand and back with glued patches. Dimension: total height: 38.5 cm, figure: 31.5 cm, weight: 1300 g.

Interesting painted clay statue depicting a sitting deity with his consort in yab-yum union. The back of the figure is left plain, mounted on a wooden stand. Condition: losses, friable. A quite large pith paper album of fine quality with ten gouache paintings, made in Canton for the export in the 19th century. Showing different scenes of a procession with musicians, court officials and ladies etc. Each is lightly mounted on paper and bordered with a blue silk ribbon. The covers are cloaked with red figured silk. Condition: paintings: good, considering the delicate nature of pith paper.
