The Pedang Lurus is an Indonesian short sword, common in Java but also existing on other Indonesian islands. The partial double-edged blade is slightly curved and forged from pamor steel. The wooden hilt and scabbard encased by silver sheet decorated in repousse with a horse and birds among flower scrolls. Condition: needs a professional cleaning and restoration. Tip of scabbard and front top with small losses, some small dents. Dimension: total length 49.6 cm, blade: circa 38 cm.

Bronze sword having a long triangular, double-edged blade with high mid-rib. Cast together with the rectangular grip ending in a bell-shaped pommel. Lower grip with recesses and incised decoration. Panel of a formal court summer robe, blue silk gauze embroidered in counted stitch and couched Gold and silver wrapped thread, dating to mid 19th century. Dragon roundels above a border of four writhing dragons chasing pearls above a celestial landscape. Edged with original blue brocade border and lined with later blue fabric. Chinese canton enamel box with slightly domed lid. The sides and top finely painted with scholars in landscape setting in famille rose palette. Interior with turquoise enamel. Condition: good - considering the delicate nature of enamel, rim of box with two very small retouchings and and sides of lid with three tiny enamel losses and few stress lines.
