Finely potted Kraak style petal-molded deep plate, dating to the late Ming period. The well with a fish swimming amongst seaweed painted in dark underglaze blue in Yuan style. Base with blue double ring. This pattern was popular in Japan for kaiseki, the tea ceremony meal.
