A pair antique Chinese silver salts, in the shape of a prunus bark standing on three feet. With original glass inserts and two little spoons. Bases with maker's mark "SF","90" and a Chinese character hallmark. The silversmith Sing Fat was active in Canton and Shanghai circa 1880-1930. Three different pairs of antique used silk lotus shoes with low heels for a Chinese lady having bound feet. Made of silk and cotton distinctly decorated with embroidery and woven ribbons. Condition: all shoes are worn, faded, with loose threads, and two pairs have lost parts of the ground fabric. Please look at the pictures carefully, they make part of the condition report. An impressive brass vase beautifully engraved with arabesques, Moorish star pattern and Arabic calligraphy. A. Salzmann was a Jewish native of Austria and teaching at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, he was owner of a workshop in Jerusalem. Base marked with "Alfred Salzmann Jerusalem" mark.
