A beautifully worked square box with raised hinged lid. Made of brass, inlaid in silver and copper, all over decorated with arabesques, geometric pattern and Arabic calligraphy in cartouches. The interior is with wood lining decorated with intarsia. Bottom with inscription. Condition: wood lining with loss and traces of usage. Dimension: 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm, 9.9 cm high, weight: 686 g.

The basic fabric, a beige plain weave, is entirely embroidered with gold or silver wrapped thread. Both sides with stars, a half moon and stylized calligraphy. One side with a mosque and the other side with velvet applique padded with metal thread embroidery. Crochet border. Condition: few missing and loose threads, missing lining. Dimension: 25 cm high x 21 cm wide.

Circular bamboo caddy or box for the export. The outside deeply carved with cartouches depicting figures and phoenixes. The lid with carving in bas relief of two attendants. A Buddhist temple canopy consisting of three panels of silk brocade. Orange brown ground with design in rows, ho-o birds alternating with leaves. Woven in polychrome silk and silvered stripes of paper "gin hirahaku". The cotton lining dated and inscribed in ink. Condition: one loss and few small holes, one corner mended, lining stained, little faded and worn. Dimension: 168 cm x 168 cm.

This hanging depicts a family ritual ceremony of a Confucian aristocratic household. Little metal wrapped thread couching and embroidery on red silk ground. Bordered with a figured and embossed silk ribbon. Brown silk lining. Condition: slightly faded, few loose threads, one tiny hole. Dimension: 70 cm x 111 cm, without border: 55 cm x 96 cm.
