Chinese flap purse with two compartments and a loop for attachment. The cream colored satin silk ground with design of a peacock, a rooster and a small bird amidst flowers, elaborately embroidered in Peking and satin stitch. With blue and white edging. Backside with cream colored cotton lining. Condition: silk with patina, few small little stained areas, few traces of usage, a tiny hole under the flap. Dimension: 14.6 cm x 8.5 cm.
