A ritual copper bronze vessel for water, the spout made in the shape of a bull head. For a similar ewer named "gaumukhi" please refer to "Goetterwelt Indiens - Traditionelle Bronzekunst", Roemer- und Pelizaeus-Museum Hildesheim 1997, no. 166, page 239. Date: 19th to early 20th century. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: 20.5 cm long x 19.2 cm high.

A rare octagonal porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with a flowering bush by a rock, along the border stylized Chinese characters. The rim glazed brown, the base with three spur marks and a "fuku" mark within a double square. Dating to the early Edo period. Condition: well with little scratches, rim with 3 tiny frits and two chips, and one chip under the glaze (photo 8). Dimension: diameter: 20 cm, 3.2 cm high.

A rare door pull (hikite), made of copper or bronze, dating to the 18th century. Decorated in polychrome cloisonne enamels with gilt wires, the bowl with figures in a mountain landscape, set into a frame with phoenixes amidst clouds encircled by a rim in champleve. Reverse with engraved number 13. Please refer to the Victoria & Albert Museum no. M.283-1912 for a similar door pull. A hexagonal porcelain tureen with slightly domed cover, supported on six bun feet. Beautifully painted with chrysanthemum and other flowers growing amongst rocks, in underglaze blue. Dating to the early Edo period, c. 1690. Please refer for a quite identical piece to Barry Davies: "Ko-Imari from the Collection of Oliver Impey", No. 42, pages 86-87. Condition: very good, only one handle restuck and lid with a tiny bubble burst. Dimension: handle to handle: 20 cm, 12 cm high.

A circular red lacquer incense box imitating carved lacquer. The lid decorated with a rakan riding on a kylin. Black lacquer to the interior and with an old label: "Laque de Nara / donné par M. Chinese cloisonne enamel censer standing on three feet, the domed cover is ending in a knob and cast in openwork with clouds that surrounds three large ruyi-head panels. The gilt rim embellished with key pattern in champleve enamel. Decorated with pagodas and a band of ruyi heads in polychrome cloisonne enamel against a turquoise ground. Turquoise contre-email. Condition: wear to gilding, top of knob and internal contre-email with enamel loss. Dimension: 17.2 cm high.
