Composite panel of antique embroideries from the Ottoman Empire, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and metal wrapped threads, composed and sewn together in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. A striped plain weave cover, consisting of eight widths sewn together. Made of wool, dyed with natural colors. Most probably made by the Shahsavan nomads and dating from the 2nd half of 19th century. Condition: clean, one small area with old mends (near undone seam, see picture 12), another small mend, little tiny thin areas, the selvages needs a fixation. Dimension: 188 cm x 156 cm.

A rare Ensi (door hanging) in knotted wool pile from the Yomut tribe. Elem with additional ribbon on the reverse. Condition: elem with small lost areas, right corner with small loss, original selvages partially worn, localized minor wear. Dimension: 154 cm x 134 cm. A collector's piece.

A flatweave wool tent bag face from the Yomut tribe, woven in Sumakh technique and dating from the late 19th century. Decorative fringes at the lower end. Condition: very good, minimal traces of usage. Dimension without fringes: 37 cm x 120.5 cm.

A large Susani needlework composed of three length of mustard yellow cotton hand embroidered in polychrome silks. This kind of Susanis where used as bed sheet for the wedding night. The sides of the mehrab with flowering pomegranates ending in a large floral roundel. Trimmed with a woven band. Ikat and red cotton lining with „mir-i-boteh“ pattern.
