Made in the Tushanwan Workshop in Xujiahui near Shanghai. Please refer for a similar model to the "Peabody Essex Museum". Condition: fine, maybe lost utensil in the maidens's hand. Dimension: 10. 6 cm long x 7.1 cm x 4.8 cm high.
Charming natural burl wood carving made in two sections, connected by a metal spike. The upper part depicting an immortal, standing on the lower section made of darker wood. Condition: fine. Dimension: total height: 22 cm.
An antique fan-shaped wooden frame, beautifully carved in open-work with lotus and flower heads. Original brass hook and glass. Dimension: total 29.8 cm x 28.5 cm, inside: 21.1 cm x 23 cm. Condition: fine, few traces of usage, two clamps lost.
The front side of this deeply carved bamboo brush pot is showing scholars in a grove considering a scroll or playing weiqi. The backside is left undecorated. Dimension: 26.6 cm high, 13 cm wide. Condition: few short age cracks.
Circular bamboo caddy or box for the export. The outside deeply carved with cartouches depicting figures and phoenixes. The lid with carving in bas relief of two attendants. Condition: Good, few minor losses and some cracks, a small crack restoration (pic. 12). Dimension: 15.9 cm high, 12.7 cm diameter, weight: 506 gram.
