Sold. 

Antique Canton enamel tray beautifully decorated with auspicious characters and symbols, used to protect the main opium tray, usually made of wood, against burns and sticky paraphernalia. Base with white contre-email. Condition: one side damaged - with enamel losses, one corner with small enamel loss, base with some stress lines. Dimension: 30 cm x 16 cm.

Sold. 

A porcelain hat stand painted in the Qianjiang palette with a young lady contemplating a flower twig at the window. Inscribed with calligraphy in black, dated "ji hai" corresponding to 1899 and signed "Gao Xintian". Base with stamped iron red mark "Guangxu". Condition: no repairs and cracks - little wear to painting and gilt rim. Dimension: 27.8 cm high, diameter: 11.6 cm.

Figural bronze oil lamp with the goddess Laxmi seated at center flanked by two elephants, bathing her. From a Swiss lady's private collection. Condition: good, chain with two amends, bronze with few thin areas. Dimension: lamp: 18 cm x 17 cm, chain: 82 cm long.

Sold. 

Two seals made of iron, one with partial gilding, and one chop with the upper part worked in silver. The iron bottoms engraved in Phags-pa script. Condition: the silver seal with a dent, some traces of usage. Dimension: tallest: 5.1 cm.

Sold. 

Tibetan butterfly-shaped woolen under-saddle rug "Makden", made in two pieces in knotted pile. Backed with purple cotton, edged with red wool fabric and having two not pierced strap holes. Decorated with peony flowers and waves. Condition: clean, full pile only few areas with little wear, backing with a small hole. Dimension: 112 cm x 72 cm.

Sold. 

A lobed Longquan ceramic dish with pale olive toned glaze, dating to the Ming dynasty. The center of the well impressed with a peony spray medallion, the sides carved with a floral meander. The base partially glazed. A quite identical dish was sold on 15th Sept 2010 by Sotheby's in New York. Condition: rim with two cracks (photos no. 3 & 8, from front and reverse). Dimension: diameter: 25.5 cm, 5 cm high.

Sold. 

A pear-shaped "Famille rose" porcelain teapot and cover with molded decoration of two rows of petals and applied lotus flowers and leaves, in between painted with cockerels, deers, fishes and egrets. Dating to the Yongzheng or early Qianlong period. Condition: good, some chips to the applied decoration (please look at the last four photos) spout with a tiny chip. Dimension: 10.7 cm high, spout to handle: c. 14.6 cm.

An original Japanese woodblock print by the Shin Hanga artist Takahashi Shotei (or Hiroaki 1871-1945). In o-tanzaku size depicting a returning woman from field work in an autumn evening. Titled "Tasogare" and with artist's seal "Shotei". Published by Watanabe Shozaburo, c. 1924. Condition: very good color and impression, margin partial with color stains. Dimension sheet: 39.4 cm x 17.8 cm, image: 37.4 cm x 16.4 cm .

A rare Straits Chinese fan case applied with tiny faceted rocaille glass beads on a green respectively yellow velvet ground, depicting auspicious symbols. Bordered with a woven band, with cotton ribbon and lining. Condition: very good, few glass beads are lost. Dimension: case: 32.2 cm long x 7.8 cm wide.

An antique kidney-shaped midnight blue satin silk pouch finely embroidered on both sides with auspicious Chinese characters, couched in gold and silver wrapped threads. Bright yellow lining, orange tapes with moulded beads decorated with bats. Condition: fine, little traces of usage and wear. Dimension: purse: 11.2 cm x 12.1 cm.
