Small Indian deity cast in bronze with dark patina depicting the dancing god Krishna holding in one hand a butter ball. 19th century or older. From a Swiss lady's private collection. Condition: patina, buttel ball and hands dented. Dimension: 8 cm high.

An ogee shaped bowl and saucer in thinly potted porcelain beautifully painted in Famille rose enamels and gold. Depicting inscriptions and historical figures. Dating to the mid 19th century, Tongzhi or Xianfeng period. Ref.: "The great fortune: The Georg Weishaupt Collection", ISBN 3-00-010306-6, pages 160 - 183. Condition: wear to gilding. Rim of saucer with tiny rim frits and hairlines, base with star-hairline. Dimension diameter: saucer: 16.1 cm, bowl: 11.3 cm.

Sold. 

Tibetan butterfly-shaped woolen under-saddle rug "Makden", made in two pieces in knotted pile. Backed with purple cotton, edged with red wool fabric and having two not pierced strap holes. Decorated with peony flowers and waves. Condition: clean, full pile only few areas with little wear, backing with a small hole. Dimension: 112 cm x 72 cm.

Sold. 

A lobed Longquan ceramic dish with pale olive toned glaze, dating to the Ming dynasty. The center of the well impressed with a peony spray medallion, the sides carved with a floral meander. The base partially glazed. A quite identical dish was sold on 15th Sept 2010 by Sotheby's in New York. Condition: rim with two cracks (photos no. 3 & 8, from front and reverse). Dimension: diameter: 25.5 cm, 5 cm high.

An original painting by the Vietnamese painter Pham Thuc Chuong (1918 - 1983), illustrating a young girl in the wind. Painted in watercolor and ink on paper mounted on cardboard. Chuong exhibited 1958 in the Salon d'Art Wolfsberg in Zurich and 1965 at th Galerie A. Weil in Paris. Signed and sealed. Condition: partial some stockflecks. Dimension: 32.2 cm x 26.2 cm.

Sold. 

A pear-shaped "Famille rose" porcelain teapot and cover with molded decoration of two rows of petals and applied lotus flowers and leaves, in between painted with cockerels, deers, fishes and egrets. Dating to the Yongzheng or early Qianlong period. Condition: good, some chips to the applied decoration (please look at the last four photos) spout with a tiny chip. Dimension: 10.7 cm high, spout to handle: c. 14.6 cm.

An original Japanese woodblock print by the Shin Hanga artist Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950). In horizontal oban size depicting men sitting in a cave. Stamped "Komagatake iwa koya", "Nihon Minami Arupusu sh", date Showa 3 (1928), artist's seal and signature and jizuri (self-printed). A rare Straits Chinese fan case applied with tiny faceted rocaille glass beads on a green respectively yellow velvet ground, depicting auspicious symbols. Bordered with a woven band, with cotton ribbon and lining. Condition: very good, few glass beads are lost. Dimension: case: 32.2 cm long x 7.8 cm wide.

Snuff bottle of rounded form made of pale agate with some darker inclusions, standing on a flat foot. The stopper is a metal mounted coral bead, short bone spoon. Condition: fine, mouth rim with a tiny rim frit, spoon broken. Dimension: total height: 6.6 cm.

Buff stoneware dish with flared rim, broad footring and recessed base. Painted with chrysanthemum pattern in iron brown pigment under a crackled glaze with greenish tinge. Date: approx. 1400 - 1600. Please refer to "Thai Ceramics: The James and Elaine Connell Collection" No. 146. Condition: foot ring with two tiny chips, rim with some repairs. Dimension: diameter: 22.9 cm, 4.8 cm high.
