The basic fabrics are different plain weaves. The edges embroidered with meandering floral ornaments in polychrome and gilt threads. The embroidery being identical on both surfaces. Condition: patina, little thin areas, holes and stains, one with loss to crochet trim. Dimension: approx. 65 cm x 65 cm .

Two different square plain weaves, the edges embroidered. One decorated with floral scrolls in polychrome silks and folded silver metal. The other one with simple embroidery in woolen thread, decorated with folded gilt metal and sequins. The embroidery being identical on both surfaces. Condition: patina, some holes and stains, few missing sequins. Dimension: c. 86 cm x 86 cm, c. 82 cm x 82 cm.

Composite panel of antique embroideries from the Ottoman Empire, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and metal wrapped threads, composed and sewn together in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. Waist-length sleeveless silk garment for a child or a very young woman. Fastened at the sides with four flat gilt metal buttons, depicting a sailing ship. Embroidered in vivid colors and metal thread couching with butterflies and roundels among flowers. Iron red and blue silk lining. Condition: fine, occasionally minimal wear and fading, lining with little paper label residue. Dimension: 46.8 cm x 52 cm.

Sumptuously padded embroidery on velvet with couched metal threads in different shades. The center of the boche with a Jerusalem cross also known as the Crusader's cross, surrounded by birds, stars and floral sprays. The birds with eyes made of glass beads. Bordered by fringes, gauze lining. Condition: very good, only few loose and missing threads, velvet with occasional fading, gauze lining with a small whole and little staining. A rare Kashmir teapot with hinged lid standing on three small feet. A blue and white deep porcelain dish with spirally moulded sides. Painted in underglaze blue with swirling stems of feathery flowers, repeated on the reverse. The base with a symbol mark in a double circle, Kangxi period (1662 - 1722). The open-work silver handle was added in the 19th century in the Netherlands. Silver cocktail shaker with strainer and detachable cap. Embossed decoration of a dragon and a round cartouche with monogram on a shagreen simulating ground. Base marked "Nanking", mark of the Nanking Silver Store in Shanghai. Condition: the cap with one, the foot and beaker's rim with small dents.
