Sumptuously padded embroidery on velvet with couched metal threads in different shades. The center of the boche with a Jerusalem cross also known as the Crusader's cross, surrounded by birds, stars and floral sprays. The birds with eyes made of glass beads. Bordered by fringes, gauze lining. Condition: very good, only few loose and missing threads, velvet with occasional fading, gauze lining with a small whole and little staining. Dimension: 84 cm x 86 cm with fringes.

An ornate tubular skirt, worn by wealthy women in Lampung, Sumatra. Striped cotton fabric decorated with couched metal-wrapped thread work and sequins in different gold shades. One edging on the back enhanced by a ribbon. Condition: good, few thin areas, some loose and missing threads and sequins, partial age related wear and stains. Dimension: 114 cm x 120 cm.

Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl dating to the late Ming period, retrieved from a shipwreck (probably the Hatcher cargo). In underglaze blue, painted outside with sketchy depiction of figures in a boat and a long Chinese inscription. The well with a four-character mark. Foot rim with little adhering kiln-sand and the glazed base with chatter marks and a painted circle. Condition: some rim frits, glaze degradation due to immersion in the sea. Attractive Kashmir tea service with handles made in the shape of a serpent. Consisting of a sugar bowl, cream jug and teapot with hinged lid. The metal base, here copper or bronze, was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and shiny gilding.
