An original color woodblock print by the English Elizabeth Keith (1887 - 1956). Keith was one of the foreign artists successful in ukiyo-e printmaking. She was born in Scotland and came to Japan in 1915 for the first time, making several trips to China and Korea. A large oban depicting two Korean men playing the Korean chess "Janggi". The title "A Game of Chess" and an oval seal with monogram EK and 1921 are printed in the image. Hand signed in ink by the artist. Reference: Elizabeth Keith: The Printed Works by R.
