The spherical body consisting of two hemispheres, locked together by a bayonet fitting. Each half reticulated with five roundels, two of them stylized shou characters and inlaid with floral motifs in mixed metal. The insert of ring gimbals with the central bowl is missing. Please compare with Sothebys sale "Later Chinese Bronzes from the Collection of Ulrich Hausmann" on 08 October 2014 in Hong Kong. Condition: insert is lost, one dent (see photo no. 6) and two small bumps. Some traces of usage. Dimension: Diameter: 12.5 cm, length of chain: 51.5 cm.
