Sino Japanese War Triptych by Kokunimasa, Meiji.

Original Japanese woodblock print triptych by Utagawa Kokunimasa (Kunimasa IV 1848 - 1920) showing a battle on the shore near Söng-hwan, dated Meiji 27 (1894), published by Ishijima Yae. The three oban are assembled, fine impression and colors with black highlights (tsuya-dashi). Condition: binding holes on the left margin outside the printed image, in the center slightly wavy due to former storage, slightly creased, two small stains. Dimension: 37.2 cm x 72.4 cm.
